What to expect from your model choice
Bigger and paid models (Claude Opus/Sonnet, GPT-4o) give clearer, more accurate explanations and follow-up answers. Free and smaller models are great for quick rephrasings and cost you nothing, but can be shallower, slower, or occasionally wrong. Pick the level that fits the question — you can switch any time, and it only affects the AI Explain & Chat features, never your flashcard progress.
