Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Dev Bench (the “Service”), operated by DataCraft Works, LLC. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

The Dev Bench provides study tools — flashcards with spaced repetition, in-browser coding practice, and hands-on labs — across a range of subjects. Features may change, and parts of the Service are offered on a best-effort basis as it grows.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.

AI features use an API key you supply for a third-party AI provider. You are responsible for that key, for any usage and charges the provider bills you, and for complying with that provider’s terms. We do not receive or store your key, and we are not a party to your relationship with the provider.

You keep ownership of the decks, cards, and other content you create or save. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you so the Service works. Don’t upload material you don’t have the right to use.

Don’t misuse the Service — no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, and no infringing or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that do.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is accurate — study material is for learning, not professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataCraft Works, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any charges from your AI provider.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
